A portrait of a young, black male, from the waste up, smoking a cigarette. I use this portrait to visually describe 'entropy', a scientific concept, as well as a measurable physical property that is most commonly associated with a state of disorder, randomness, or uncertainty.
In recent years, the long-standing use of the term "disorder", to discuss entropy has met with some criticism.
