The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back.   The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

All metal prints ship within 3 - 4 business days and arrive "ready to hang" with mounting hooks and nails.

A highly stylized portrait of Richard Claxton Gregory (b. Oct 12, 1932 - d. Aug 19, 2017) (age 84)), who was an African-American comedian, civil rights activist, social critic, writer, entrepreneur, conspiracy theorist, and occasional actor. During the turbulent 1960s, Gregory became a pioneer in stand-up comedy for his "no-holds-barred" sets, in which he mocked bigotry and racism. He performed primarily to black audiences at segregated clubs until 1961, when he became the first black comedian to successfully cross over to white audiences, appearing on television and putting out comedy record albums.

Walter O. Neal has shown his work throughout the Washington Metropolitan area, and is highly regarded for the unique, creative vision and artistic excellence he brings to his work. His artwork is in the respective collections of Howard University, the Evans-Tibbs Collection, Corcoran Gallery of Art, as well as various organizations and private collections in the U.S., and abroad. A native of Detroit, Michigan, Walter is founder and artistic director of AMKA Graphics Studios, which he founded in 1970, while a student at his alma mater, Howard University.
